Miles for Melanoma 2016

This past weekend, our doctors and associates participated in Miles for Melanoma! We helped raise money for Melanoma research and awareness while working as a team and finishing the race!

Here are some important facts about Melanoma that influenced us to join other Central Ohioans in Miles for Melanoma:

• According to Melanoma.org, Melanoma is the fastest-growing cancer in the world, especially in people under 35 and among young women.
• Every year, approximately 144,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with melanoma, resulting in nearly 10,000 deaths.
• In the United States, someone is diagnosed with melanoma every eight minutes; every hour, someone dies from the disease.
