Since Eastside Dermatology was established in 1987, our experienced staff has worked with patients to achieve amazing results. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality care, using the safest techniques available, so that you can achieve your desired results. We do this in a caring fashion, in a comfortable setting, and for a reasonable fee. To make paying for your cosmetic procedure more convenient, we also offer financing through CareCredit©.
Alan J. Parks, MD
Dr. Alan J. Parks founded Eastside Dermatology & Skin Care Center and has served as its medical director since 1987. Dr. Parks is board certified in Dermatology with clinical interests including Cosmetic and Surgical dermatology, laser treatments, BOTOX®, Restylane®, and skin cancer surgery. Dr. Parks is a recipient of the American Academy of Dermatology Community Service award for skin cancer screening, and the Edmund D. Lowney teaching award for teaching dermatology residents. He was also the first physician to perform purely tumescent liposuction in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Alan J. Parks graduated from the State University of New York - Downstate Medical School in 1983. After finishing school, Dr. Parks held an internship in Internal Medicine at Downstate Hospitals. In 1987, he completed his dermatology residency at Ohio State University, where he served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Parks is a fellow of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He is also a member of the Ohio Dermatologic Association and the Central Ohio Dermatologic Society, where he was past president.
Stephen D'Addario, MD
Dr. Stephen D'Addario is both a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs micrographic surgeon. He graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and attended the State University of New York - Upstate Medical University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected into Alpha Omega Alpha, a national honorary medical society. Dr. D'Addario completed his internship and dermatology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he served as chief resident. He then went on to complete his fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery and procedural dermatology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology (ACMMSCO) and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS).
Dr. D'Addario has extensive training in not only Mohs micrographic surgery, but also in cosmetic dermatology treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, cosmetic fillers, dermabrasion, scar revision, and both ablative and non-ablative laser therapies.
Sara Taylor, PA-C
Sara Taylor is a Certified Physician Assistant who joined Eastside Dermatology in 2007. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Medical Professions from The Ohio State University and her Physician Assistant degree from Tri-C’s Physician Assistant Program. She has extensive didactic and clinical training in recognizing and treating common dermatologic conditions as well as performing minor in office procedures. Sara not only cares about delivering the utmost quality of care but also strives to form open caring relationships with her patients thereby leading to a higher level of communication and improving patient care. “Making patients feel comfortable and knowing that they can communicate openly and easily with me is very important.” Sara is also an advocate for educating patients with the knowledge and tools they need to keep their skin healthy and looking its best.
Danita Green, Licensed Esthetician
Danita Green is a licensed esthetician who joined Eastside Dermatology in 2003. She has performed aesthetic services in physician's offices since 2001, working closely with physicians to determine the best plan of care to improve the appearance and health of patient's skin. Danita’s expertise includes skin care analysis, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, permanent make-up application (micropigmentation), cosmetic make-up application, and Ultrasonic facials. Her enthusiasm for skin care comes across in every patient encounter. Danita welcomes the opportunity to pamper and rejuvenate your skin and looks forward to assisting with your skin care concerns, including acne, acne scars, blotchy skin, wrinkles, sun damage, and uneven skin pigmentation.
Sharon Reelhorn, RN
Sharon Reelhorn, RN, has been Clinical Supervisor at Eastside Dermatology since 1991. Her professional demeanor and compassion enable patients to feel at ease and well cared for in the office. Her expertise includes patient education, medication administration, and training, as well as assisting with surgical and cosmetic procedures and postoperative instructions. Sharon completes yearly continuing medical education requirements to stay current on the latest dermatological procedures and conditions.
